NBA Trade Rumors: Rudy Gay to Miami Heat, Iman Shumpert to Minnesota Timberwolves
NBA fans are excited for the start of the new season that will kick in just few days. They are curious who will be the new guys to join in their favorite teams and who will be moving to others. A rumor spread for the movements of some NBA favorites.
The concerned teams of these movements are Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat, Minnesota Timberwolves, Sacramento Kings, and Chicago Bulls. For fans of these teams, here are the latest NBA trade rumors...
Sacramento Kings' Rudy Gay is moving to the Miami Heat with him is Darren Collison. Their departure is for the exchange of point guard Goran Dragic. This trade deal is a chain reaction from the moving of point guard Rajon Rondo to Chicago Bulls. Kings are pushing the deal since Goran Dragic can be the exact replacement of Rajon Rondo as reported by HNGN.
Miami Heat has also a necessity for the vacancy made by Chris Bosh. As reported in September this year Bosh failed his physical examination for the Heat. On September 16, 2016 Heat President Pat Riley announced Bosh as not joining the team anymore, although Bosh has said he would return. The team also was not already working for his return. Instead, if the trade will work Rudy Gay is a perfect replacement for Bosh. Rudy Gay has a record of 17.2 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game last season. He also said earlier this year that he did not like Kings' management after Coach Michael Malone and General Manager Pete D'Alessandro left, according to Gospel Herald.
Another rumored trade deal is a three-trade with Kings, Cavaliers and Timberwolves as reported by Inquisitr. The movements are Darren Collison as rumored will transfer to Heat while Rudy Gay will to move for Cavaliers and with him is Ben Mc Lemore. Ricky Runio will move to Sacramento Kings, and Iman Shumpert to Minnesota Timberwolves.
These trade deals if pushed successfully will change a lot of NBA team line-ups. Thus another season would be packed with different action.
