NBA Trade Rumors: Paul George to Boston Celtics, Indiana Pacers exchange for 3 players
The Boston Celtics have a lot of young talent and a host of assets that are the envy of any and every team in the league. But still, they are not satisfied with their present roster.
According to the latest NBA rumor, the Boston Celtics are looking to get 3 times star small forward Paul George of the Indiana pacers in order to exchange of 3 players.
The Boston Celtics, one of the busiest teams in the trade market during the offseason still hope to acquire the superstar that could help it contend with other powerhouse teams. Though, the team has got the biggest acquisition of 12-8 record and currently in third place in the Eastern Conference.
Even though the Boston Celtics have acquired power forward AI Horford during the summer with a four-year max deal worth of $113 million.
In the latest NBA trade rumor, Celtics could make the full effort to get Paul George from the Indian Pacers. According to the latest trade deal, the Boston Celtics will send Jae Crowder, Kelly Olynyk, and four future draft picks to the Indiana Pacers for Paul George.
Meanwhile, Boston Celtics has left a lot of players just for one player that makes the value of an elite type of player like Paul George. The 3- time NBA All-Star George is averaging 20.8 points,6.6 rebounds , and 3.5 assists per game in the 12 games, in 2016-2017 NBA Season.
According to ESPN NBA Trade, the trade will work under NBA trade rules and also approved by league officials. But the question is, will Indian Pacers President of Basketball Operations Larry Bird allow this to happen?
Larry Bird has also announced that Indiana Pacers are committed to keeping Paul George and are planning to sign him to contract extension.
But in a recent interview with ESPN, George has stated that he has not interested in another extension. If this is true Larry Bird may consider the offer presented by Celtics to them.
