'The Flash' Episode 13 Review: Harry Goes Missing; Barry Fakes Death To Save Team After Defeating Solovar
"The Flash" Season 3 Episode 13 rendered jaw-dropping enthusiasm when Jesse's father was gone missing. The team prepares to begin a rescue mission to bring back Harry from the Gorilla City.
The initial part of the 2-episode event titled as 'The Attack on Gorilla City' involved the missing case of Harry. Harry had gone missing after receiving an invitation to the city. Jesse Quick takes help from the team involving Barry, Caitlin, Cisco and Julian as they set foot on a mission to Earth-2. The rescue mission was generated to save Harry from the entanglement of Gorilla City.
As the team searches for Harry, Barry and the rest of the team are instantly taken into possession by Grodd. Grodd, while seizing them, presents his need and asks for assistance to help stop Solovar, who is the supposed leader of the Gorilla City and wants to invade Earth-1, reports IGN.
After the team wakes up in their cages, Barry along with his mates learn through Grodd-channeling Harry that their assistance in order to annihilate Solovar would be welcomed. If Grodd takes over, then it will create obstacles in Solovar's way to occupy his former home, Earth-One's Central City.
Barry accepts the offer with the condition to let go his team members if he wins. Barry faces a predicament when his speed punches and lightning throw are rendered useless. At this point in the arena, Julian presents Cisco with an idea to take help from Reverse-Flash. This results in Barry's victory, although he refuses to completely deteriorate Solovar in "The Flash" Season 3 Episode 13, reports TV Line.
After Solovar's defeat, Grodd comes up and prepares to invade Earth-1. The team is embroiled in a challenge as Caitlin was asked to kill Cisco so that a breach won't be created. Barry then fakes his death and Grodd removes him from the cage.
Jesse is united with her father and Wally and Jesse recommits to their relationship. Grodd's story remains incomplete as he garners his army with a brainwashed Gypsy besides him.
Meanwhile, Jesse along with Kid Flash dealt with a Meta-human who had the ability to monitor and control gravity. H. R and Joe Jesse were also involved and tried to guide them from the S. T. A. R. Labs.
"The Flash" Episode 13 was a package full of entertainment. It rendered plenty of Gorilla goodness and lots of Harrison Wells. The battle has just begun as the next part titled as 'Attack on Central City' of the same event is slated to air on Feb. 28.
