‘Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales’ Trailer 3 Is Out; A Shocking CGI Twist On Jack Sparrow Revealed
Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean franchise is yet again back with the third trailer for its fifth installment. The action-packed movie trailer shocked the audience with a new surprise.
According to BGR, "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" released its third trailer. Fans get to see a glimpse of CGI young Jack Sparrow.
Johnny Depp reprised his role as the beloved and clever Jack Sparrow in "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales". Along with him, Geoffrey Rush will appear as Captain Hector Barbossa, Kevin R. McNally as Joshamee Gibbs and Orlando Bloom as Captain Will Turner.
The addition in "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" this time is Javier Bardem who plays the primary antagonist, Captain Armando Salazar. In fact, the third trailer primarily featured Salazar and the character kind of reminded fans of Davy Jones creepiness.
The plot in "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" is rather interesting. It revolves around the past that connects Jack Sparrow and Salazar. This is where the CGI young Johnny Depp comes in the story.
According to Entertainment Weekly, "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" trailer revealed that Salazar's mission was to eliminate all pirates until he meets a young boy named Jack. Salazar and his crew were killed while they were trying to catch Jack through the infamous Devil's Triangle.
But now Salazar is back as a ghost and is thirsty for revenge. Jack's only hope to escape Salazar's plan is to acquire a mysterious object known as the Trident of Poseidon. He gets help from an astronomer, Carina Smyth, played by Kaya Scodelario and a sailor young sailor in the Royal Navy, Henry, played by Brenton Thwaites.
"Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" will hit theaters on Memorial Day, which is May 29. Similar to the previous installments the movie promised action-packed scenes, intense story and witty one-liners.
