'Batman and Harley Quinn' Animated Movie Will Feature Kevin Conroy & Melissa Rauch's Voices
The "Batman and Harley Quinn" animated movie is set to be released this summer. Kevin Conroy who voices Batman in "Batman: The Animated Series" will be returning for the film. Melissa Rauch who is known for her role as Bernadette on "The Big Bang Theory" will voice Harley Quinn.
According to Empire, the "Batman and Harley Quinn" animated film will feature the plot where Batman, Harley Quinn and Nightwing (to be voiced by Loren Lester) are teaming up to stop the nefarious plans of Poison Ivy (to be voiced by Paget Brewster) and Jason Woodrue or Plant-Master.
Other actors who will join Kevin Conroy and Melissa Rauch for the "Batman and Harley Quinn" animated film include John DiMaggio, Rob Paulsen, Robin Atkin Downes, Trevor Devall, Mindy Sterling and Eric Bauza. Bruce Timm is the executive producer of the original movie.
Melissa Rauch has commented that it has been her dream to voice Harley Quinn. The actress expressed that she admires the popular DC comic character's wit and sarcasm. It seems that she is readily equipped to voice the Maid of Mischief as the character has a New York accent with a high-pitched tone.
Fans of "The Big Bang Theory" know that Melissa Rauch has a higher pitched tone that would be perfect for Harley Quinn in the "Batman and Harley Quinn" animated film. Comic Book reports that the actress confessed that she used to speak like the character but she worked on removing the accent because of her career.
The upcoming "Batman and Harley Quinn" animated movie will be released in the summer in the US. The film can be downloaded digitally and will have DVD and Blu-Ray copies available.
