Ben Affleck Dunkin Donuts Ad Aired at Super Bowl After Earlier Reports of Actor Seen Working at the Chain
Ben Affleck has taken humor to another level after starring in a Dunkin Donuts ad that aired at Super Bowl.
The actor-director returned to Massachusetts for the Dunkin Donuts ad, where he grew up and where the famous coffee and donuts chain was founded, as cited by The Hollywood Reporter.
In the Super Bowl Dunkin Donuts ad, he was seen serving customers through the drive-thru section, with the actor saying, "Welcome to Dunkin."
In the video, Affleck said that it was the best coffee and donut place as "it was the place that everybody went."
He also asked one customer who pulled over if he looked familiar, to which the customer answered, "no."

Affleck also talked about how he grew up with Dunkin, noting how after the games, "everybody would go to Dunkin," to get munchkins or coffee.
He also talked about how his children see his habitual consumption of the coffee and donuts chain's products and how there are not so many Dunkin Donuts branches in Los Angeles.
Affleck said that his children probably think of it as "a slightly eccentric habit of their dad."
What surprised fans was actually his wife's presence, Jennifer Lopez, in the ad aired during the Super bowl.
The two started a conversation, with the "Jenny From The Block" singer asking if working at Dunkin was what Affleck meant when he said, "he's gonna work all day."
Lopez then instructed her husband to grab her a glazed donut before he leaves work, according to Daily Mail.
The Latina pop singer was wearing a white puffer jacket as she pulled over to the drive-thru window, while Affleck was wearing the Dunkin Donuts employees' uniform of a logo T-shirt and a visor hat.
Ben Affleck at Dunkin Donuts Before Super Bowl
Affleck went viral after he was first seen serving orders at the popular coffee and donut place in January, speculating reports that the actor might have been working at Dunkin Donuts.
One customer shared a picture of Affleck at Dunkin Donuts on Instagram, thanking him and Lopez for her "coffee this morning," as reported by USA Today.
Several photos circulated on the internet, mostly captured by fans. Many also took the opportunity to create more memes of the actor and his affinity for Dunkin Donuts.
Aside from Affleck, there were also sightings of Lopez at the time, which was also spread on social media.
The Hollywood couple was reported at the time to be in Medford filing something for the chain, according to ABC 11.
They were among many celebrities featured in the most wanted Super Bowl ad spot. A 30-second ad for Super Bowl can reportedly cost between $6 million and $7 million.
The actor was known for his "Good Will Hunting" and "Gone Girl" roles, among many others.
