"The Legend of Korra" premiered on Friday on Nickelodeon.com, and the episode started three years later.

Last time, we saw Korra, she was a in a wheelchair. Now, she is fighting in an underground fighting arena that resemble a grittier version of professional bending. Her father thought that Korra was in Republic City for the last six months, and Asami, Tenzin and Lin have been waiting for her arrival.

There were a lot of confusing things shown in the first episode. Here are the most confusing moments.

1. Why is Bolin with Kuvira?

Kuvira is seemingly saving people from bandits, but others, including Bolin's girlfriend, Opal, consider her a villain. She says she is unifying the Earth Kingdom, but she also threatened to kill people if they didn't join her. Though Bolin wasn't present for that part, he was there when Opal asked him not to abandon the people of a city. It'd be hard to believe that Bolin hasn't seen Kuvira rule through intimidation and threats.

Plus, Opal points out that she doesn't like who Bolin is when he's with Kuvira, meaning that he has changed. Bolin previously served as the comic relief, but he was much more serious in episode one.

2. Has Korra just been taking beatings for six months?

It's revealed that Korra has been fighting, but her father thinks she has been in Republic City with her friends and loved ones. Does this mean she has just been taking beatings, as she did in the first episode?

Though three years have gone by, it seems Korra hasn't been able to get over what happened to her when she faced off with Zaheer. She's trying to run away from being the avatar. Someone even tells her that she looks like her, and Korra says she gets that a lot.

3. How long will it be until Team Avatar is reunited?

Everyone is going in different directions, and Asami's initial conversation with Mako shows that Team Avatar isn't exactly keeping in touch. With Mako assigned to bodyguard duty for the king-to-be and Bolin continuing to travel with Kuvira, who knows when the two brothers will even unite.

The team also has to focus on finding Korra, who obviously does not want to be found. It's not a great start for Team Avatar, and something very terrible will probably have to happen for the team to reunite.

4. What happened three years ago with Suyin and her children?

Opal and her brother, Bataar, met at the village that Kuvira was trying to conquer. Opal was on the opposite side trying to help them. Opal finds out that Bataar and Kuvira are engaged, which further adds to her disappointment in him. She brings up how awful it was what he did to their mom, which seemingly left Suyin heartbroken.

5. When will Kuvira face opposition from other world leaders?

It doesn't look like Kuvira is facing too much of a challenge thus far. And even when some people show opposition, they eventually bend to her will. People know the threat she poses. When she saves places, she takes them over. So it has to be a matter of time until she faces some real obstacles.
