The 2014 NFL season has brought a lot joy for Fantasy Football owners so far.

The quarterback position is by far the most important and valuable fantasy position because of the points that come with them. Fantasy points are all about matchups, and here we break down the five best quarterbacks to choose for NFL Week 6.

The top five fantasy quarterbacks for Week 6 are listed below:

1. Philip Rivers

The San Diego Chargers have been the hottest team in the AFC, winning their last four consecutive games. Quarterback Philip Rivers is playing like a Most Valuable Player candidate with 12 touchdown passes and just two interceptions. So far this year, Rivers is completing 70.3 percent of his passes. Rivers and the Chargers face the 0-4 Oakland Raiders in Week 6, and Rivers should put up great numbers. With so many running back issues, Rivers will be throwing the ball a lot on Sunday. The Chargers know they must win this AFC West divisional game.

2. Peyton Manning

After losing to the Seattle Seahawks, the Denver Broncos dominated the Arizona Cardinals 41-20. Peyton Manning and the Broncos face the New York Jets and Rex Ryan next in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The Jets defense isn't what is used to be with Bart Scott, Darrelle Revis and Antonio Cromartie. With running back Montee Ball hurt, Manning will be throwing to his wide outs all day. This Jets team doesn't have a great pass rush, and Manning will have his way.

3. Aaron Rodgers

The Miami Dolphins are 2-2, and they'll be playing at home in Miami, but Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers offense will be too much. Over the last two weeks, Rodgers has been on a tear for fantasy owners throwing seven touchdowns and zero interceptions. Overall this season, Rodgers has an eye-opening 12 touchdowns, one interception and a 114.8 passer rating.

4. Ben Rothlisberger

Ben Roethlisberger doesn't put up huge fantasy numbers on a weekly basis, but for some reason, he just owns the Cleveland Browns. Rothlisberger is now 17-1 in his career against the Browns as a starter, and wouldn't you know it, the Steelers and Browns face off this weekend. Wide receiver Antonio Brown has inserted himself into the "elite" category, and he will be expected to catch a lot of balls from Roethlisberger. In Pittsburgh or Cleveland, Roethlisberger has been the Browns' worst nightmare.

5. Joe Flacco

Joe Flacco is a wildly inconsistent quarterback. Some games he plays great, other games he leaves fantasy owners scratching their heads. In Week 4 against the Carolina Panthers, Flacco was perfect throwing for three touchdowns and zero interceptions. Unfortunately, Flacco followed that up in Week 5 with a zero touchdown performance against the Indianapolis Colts. Again, an inconsistent quarterback. This week, Flacco faces the 1-4 Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and we're going to bet he has a great game.
