"Star Wars Episode VII" is the most hotly-anticipated film of 2015.

Rumors have spread like wildfire since the announcement of the film, but fans craving spoilers and info got their greatest treat over the last few days as major concept art was spoiled.

The pictures showcase a wide number of major characters and concepts. Here is a run down.

The first major piece of concept art showcases the evil villain holding a mask of Darth Vader. It seems that those who were claiming that this was in fact a reality were not exaggerating. By all indications, Vader's mask is back in the film. What function will it serve? Who knows.

Another closer image of the villain shows that he does in fact have human lips. Whether he is wearing the mask because he is a cyborg (like Vader) or as a disguise is yet to be seen. There is no sign of a beard, however, which might displace rumors that he is in fact Luke (actor Mark Hamill has been sporting a beard throughout the shoot).

The villain shows up in three more images, including two that showcase Kira, the character played by Daisey Ridley. One of them shows Kira encountering the antagonist in a cave and the other shows the two of them in lightsaber battle, with a young fellow on the floor beside the evildoer.

The most interesting of the images, however, shows the villain embracing Kira, which lends some credence to the rumor going around that Luke is the villain and that she willing accepts to join him.

Aside from those major images, there are quite a few showcasing the desert planet that looks like Tatooine (but apparently isn't). The best image of all is one in which an AT-AT has been utilized to create a shelter. Some rumors have claimed that Kira has transformed that into her home. None of the images provide evidence for this rumor, but it certainly aids in perpetuating it.

Another image showcases stormtroopers standing around a TIE Fighter. This image would indicate that remnants of the empire continue to exist. In another picture, a TIE fighter is burned to the ground.

There is also a cyborg human that looks a bit like a bounty hunter. There has been another rumor that Max Von Sydow is slated to play a cyborg human that aids Kira in her quest. From the pictures, it would seem that this might actually be his character. There are two different designs, so only J.J. Abrams knows which one -- if any of the two or both -- makes it to the film.

And finally there is a image of Chewbacca. The art shows two versions of the Wookie hero. One of them shows Chewbacca with a cyborg arm, similar to that of Luke in Episode VI, while the other does not show him with the injury. It seems that in every trilogy, someone loses an arm. However, it is always the main protagonist who suffers the injury. It would be interesting to see if this concept art showcases Chewie's evolution in the film or if he starts off with the arm already injured. More importantly, is he the only one to suffer a severed arm in the film?
