Six weeks after being hospitalized due to exhaustion and dehydration, August Alsina had released a brand new video for his latest song "Grindin,'" a remake version of Lil Wayne's single featuring Drake off the upcoming album "Tha Carter V."

The New Orleans native, who won the Best New Artist of the Year at 2014 BET Awards, previously collapsed unconscious in the middle of his performance at downtown Manhattan's Irving Plaza. He was reportedly walking towards the front of the stage when he suddenly fainted and fell into the crowd.

In the new video directed by Lindsey Payne, Alsina appears in a dark, foggy forest, dressed in head-to-toe black with his shades on. He starts off with a hook, which defines the meaning of the title.

"We come from forts and expeditions, slangin' pipas with ambition / 'Cause back in my younger days that's just how we make a living," he states in syncopation. "That's how I was thought to grind, learnt to hustle from my moms / That's that G s**t and the G simply stands for grind."

The singer also confronts his haters, referencing his infamous fall.

"I appreciate your prayers, I respect you my n***a / A lot of these lames kept hatin' on a n***a / When I took a little fall, you was steppin' on a n***a," he sings in the track produced by Knucklehead.

The R&B newcomer then further addresses his recent health issues.

"I just got out of a coma / It showed me that when God is for me, no weapon can hold me / That's why I go hard for N.O. and my homies, and I pay homage to n***as before me," he sings.

Despite falling into a three-day coma after suffering from multiple seizures, Alsina continues to express his ambition, complimented with fire and smoke scenes throughout the introspective track.

"Doctor tell me I'm exhausted and s**t / Can't stop now am never gone quit," he croons.

Meanwhile, the "No Love" singer is set to join Usher on his upcoming "UR Experience" tour, which is scheduled to kick off in Montreal, Canada on Nov. 1 and end in Tampa, Florida on Dec. 14.
