It seems that the longstanding feud between Kendrick Lamar and Drake has finally come to an end.The TDE emcee recently addressed his rumored assault in Las Vegas and beef with the OVO boss.

While stopping by Power 105.1's "Breakfast Club" on Nov. 4 to discuss his highly anticipated sophomore studio album, K. Dot insisted that he had no problem with Drizzy to begin with.

"Oh my goodness. People need to let that go. Yeah, we spoke. It wasn't no issue from the jump," he said. "I think people talk about beef, it's just a whole 'nother dynamic. I can't see myself going bar for bar with Drake. We're two different types of artist. People will say he say she say all the time."

Earlier this week, Lamar released the new music video for the lead hit single "i" off the upcoming follow-up to his critically acclaimed major-label debut "good kid, m.A.A.d city." In the video, he is seen dancing his way through the streets of his hometown of Compton, California.

Although he did not reveal when the yet-to-be-titled album will be released, the "Poetic Justice" rapper did reveal that it is "almost there" and how he will know when it is ready.

"When I start tampering with things I shouldn't be tampering with," he explained. "Me in the creative space, I'm so much of a thinker, everything is technical and has to be masterminded to how I hear it and feel. When creating an album, I'm big on that -- it's not just one song, but a body of work."

In addition, Lamar is not worried about his forthcoming effort.

"It's not hard because when you look at the simple things in life, when we don't realize how big of an issue they are, that's a whole 'nother subject matter to talk about. It can be something as simple as respect," he said.
