On Saturday, Britney Spears took to Instagram to share a photo of herself and her new beau, Charlie Ebersol, Us Weekly reports.

The selfie -- which shows Spears and Ebersol grinning from ear to ear -- was captioned with a heart emoji.

Following the loving picture's post on Instagram, Spears' fans immediately flocked to the photo sharing site to congratulate the new couple.

Spears' selfie comes on the heels of the pop star revealing to Extra that she hs a new man.

"Yes, there is a special someone," Spears told Extra during Las Vegas' "Britney Day" ceremony on Nov. 5. "It's very new."

Though Spears did not disclose the name of the "special someone" at the time, several media outlets, including E! News and Us Weekly, reported that Charlie Ebersol, son of "Saturday Night Live" co-creator, Dick Ebersol, was Spears' new beau.

"He's a sweet guy, and we'll see where it goes," a Us Weekly source said.

"He is the sweetest guy ever and they are very much enjoying getting to know one another," a E! News source said. "They are both very happy and having fun. It's just the beginning so no idea if it will become serious, but right now they are having a lot of fun together."

Prior to her new romance with Ebersol, Spears dated David Lucado, whom she broke up with in August. Following her breakup over the summer, Spears announced that she was single via Twitter.

She also announced the reason for her breakup during one of her "Piece of Me" performances in Las Vegas a few months ago.

"Well, by now everyone knows my boyfriend cheated on me, but the best part of breaking up is going on first dates," Spears told her audience, according to Daily Mail. "OMG, OMG I need a hot guy. Where are the hot guys here tonight?"
