Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber Girlfriend and Boyfriend Breakup News 2014: Singer Ends AMA 2014 Performance With Blurry Pic of Ex, Tears [Watch]
Selena Gomez delivered a tear-jerking performance at this year's American Music Awards, which took place in Los Angeles on Sunday.
Gomez performed her latest single, "The Heart Wants What It Wants," and began crying towards the end of her performance as a shadowed and blurred out image of what appeared to be Justin Bieber surfaced on the AMA stage's screen, E! News reports.
AMA cameras even caught a close up shot of Gomez mouthing the words "thank you Jesus" and letting out a huge sigh of relief at the end of her performance.

"Blank Space" singer Taylor Swift also reportedly cried during Gomez's AMA performance.
Following Gomez's heartfelt ballad, Swift, Gomez and Lorde sat together in the AMA audience, leaving many to assume that the three songstresses had mended their broken friendships.
Back in July, HollywoodLife.com reported that Swift, Gomez and Demi Lovato ended their friendship because of Swift's ill feelings towards Gomez's on-again off-again relationship with Bieber.
"Selena's feelings are that her friends are right in the moment. She listens to her friends when she wants attention from her Justin problems, and when she is feeling bad about herself, but the second she is away from them, she goes back to letting Justin walk all over her," said a HollywoodLife.com source at the time. "The pattern is not going to change. That is why people like Demi and Taylor are over her bulls**t."
Us Weekly reports that Lorde and Gomez also had a falling out last year after Lorde slammed Gomez's single "Come and Get it" for its anti-feminist message.
"I'm a feminist and the theme of her song is, 'When you're ready, come and get it from me,'" Lorde said during an interview with Rolling Stone at the time. "I'm sick of women being portrayed this way."
Gomez later responded to Lorde's diss and described the "Yellow Flicker Beat" singer as not being a true feminist in her opinion.
"That's not feminism. [Lorde is] not supporting other women. That's my honest opinion, that's what I would say to her if I saw her," Gomez explained during a Flaunt Magazine interview.
Although it was clear to see that both Lorde and Swift were moved by Gomez's AMA performance, Bieber has yet to respond to Gomez's Bieber-inspired song.
