It's been a year full of dramatic and intense moments on telenovelas. Some episodes made audiences so frustrated or happy that they took to social media to discuss them. Here is a look at 10 of the best moments.
1. Alejandro awakens from his coma on "Lo Que La Vida Me Robo"
While Montserrat thought Alejandro was dead, she tried to move on from her life. This was an important moment because it showed how much had happened in the seven years since he was in an accident.
The result was that Montserrat became on the verge of marrying someone else, and Alejandro found out that she isn't dead, as he was previously told.
2. Ana and Fernando fall asleep on "Mi Corazón Es Tuyo"
Ana and Fernando are a fan favorite couple, so social media users were absolutely giddy when the two fell asleep together.
In the scene, Ana had already fallen asleep. Fernando then entered the room and told her he loves her. He ends up falling asleep with her, and Fanny sees them together.
3. Chava's new face on "Hasta El Fin Del Mundo"
Pedro Fernandez left "Hasta El Fin Del Mundo" because of health reasons. The show decided not to kill off his character. Instead, after Marjorie De Sousa's character, Sofia, kissed Chava, she opened her eyes and saw her new leading man, David Zepeda.
4. Esmeralda's transformation on "La Gata"
Many were getting annoyed with seeing Esmeralda's frizzy hair on "La Gata," and her makeover got her out of her black dress and into more sophisticated looks.
5. Acacia and Esteban kiss on "La Malquerida"
There's an entire group of people cheering on Acacia and Esteban. The Estecias, as they go by on social media, were happy to see the two kiss and admit their feelings for each other.
6. Cesar dies on "Los Miserables"
Cesar was murdered on "Los Miserables," which was a surprising twist as Aaron Diaz was the actor portraying the character.
7. Sara is accused of killing Eliodoro on "Señora Acero"
After Eliodoro is murdered, Sara is the one who the police accuse. Really, it was La Empanada who did it. Sara was able to escape the police.
8. Aurelio returns on "El Señor de los Cielos 2"
Though this happened at the very beginning of the series, it was a memorable scene because many thought Aurelio had died. This meant that many of the other characters were taken by surprise as well, and Aurelio was ready for more.
9. Dafne can't walk on "Por Siempre Mi Amor"
Dafne and Esteban are assaulted, and Dafne realized that she could not feel her legs. Andrea realized that someone must have been out to purposely hurt them.
10. Alejandro and Montserrat end up together on "Mi Corazón Es Tuyo"
The last episode saw Alejandro and Montserrat getting their happily ever after. Jose Luis even risked his life for them to end up together.
