On Sunday, Jan. 4 "True Tori" stars, Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott took to Instagram to share photos from their date night at the UFC 182 main event at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, E! News reports.

McDermott described Spelling as his "gorgeous wife" in the caption while she commented that she was "loving" the night they were having.

E! News reports that McDermott and Spelling attended the fight with their best friends Jessica and Wolf Amer and appeared to be smiling and happy all throughout the night leaving many to believe that the couple is currently doing well in their marriage.

A few months prior to the UFC date night, reports of tension and turmoil in McDermott and Spellings marriage ignited after McDermott announced that he would no longer appear on "True Tori" while Spelling insisted she would continue filming.

The couple initially appeared together on the show to discuss McDermott's infidelity.

But in a later interview with Access Hollywood, McDermott explained that he was tired of being portrayed negatively on the show and decided to quit to regain a sense of normalcy in his life.

"I'm not going to continue with the show," McDermott told Access Hollywood. "We have five more shows left... I can't do this anymore. I can't keep opening a vein, opening my soul and sharing my feelings and thoughts and demons with the world."

Meanwhile, his wife Tori revealed that the show was therapeutic for her.

"It's completely cathartic for me and it's very individual," Spelling explained last month on the "Meredith Vieria Show." "I know everyone has an opinion about me putting my life and relationship out there, and it's something... I needed that. I felt like I didn't have a voice for so long."

Despite the estranged couple's opposing view of the show, McDermott explained to Access Hollywood back in November that he is still hopeful about the future success of his marriage to Spelling.

"I hold out a lot of hope," he said. "If you don't have hope what do you have? I love this woman, regardless of what I've done. I love her and want to be with her. I want to grow old with her."
