'Anaconda' Rapper Nicki Minaj Accuses Ex-Boyfriend Safaree Samuels of Cheating During Concert? [Video]
Nicki Minaj ranted about men being disloyal to their women at this year's pre-Super Bowl party in Phoenix, Arizona. Was she aiming at ex-boyfriend Safaree Samuels?
The Trinidadian emcee appeared on stage Jan. 30 at Bud Light's House of Whatever concert, an exclusive party leading up to Super Bowl XLIX, clad in a black Roberto Cavalli catsuit with revealing cutouts.
"Are men worse liars?" she asked before the crowd immediately started booing her.
Minaj insisted on her opinion about men in an explicit statement, seemingly accusing Samuels of cheating.
"Motherf*ckers get where they going and then they wanna leave yo *ss when they get there," she said. "About motherf*ckers that don't know how to appreciate a motherf*cking good thing until it's gone."
The "Anaconda" rapper then managed to win the audience again: "Hey guys, are you going home with your main chick or your side piece?"
Minaj's comment follows her ex's interview during Power 105.1's "The Breakfast Club" on Jan. 13. Samuels alleged she treated him like her worker.
"I walked away. I'm not going to say I broke up, but I'm the one who walked away. I packed up my stuff and I left," he said.
"I just got to the point where the respect wasn't there," he added. "Everyone around her works for her, you know? So it got the point where it was like, I'm your man. I'm who you go to sleep with every night. I'm who you wake up with every morning. And it got to the point where I was being treated like an employee, instead of like her man."
On the other hand, Urban Islandz recently reported the ex-couple is heading toward reconciliation, secretly working their differences out.
"Nicki and SB love each other deeply. They define what a soul mate is because this is not the first time they have broken up and they always ended up back together," a source said. "They are working things out and are doing it privately to avoid any media escapade."
