The next episode of "Chicago Fire," "We Called Her Jellybean," will feature a crossover into "Chicago PD" and "Law & Order: SVU."

Carter Matt reports that the next episode will be hard to watch since someone has lost their life. The crossover into "Law & Order: SVU" happens when Detective Benson visits Chicago to investigate a fire that may include a serial killer she is after.

The synopsis for the next episode reads, "An apartment fire linked to a case of rape and attempted murder calls for members of the CPD to team with the Special Victims Unit, which had a similar unresolved case that has eluded them for more than 10 years. This prompts Sgt. Benson (Mariska Hargitay) to come in from New York to assist with the investigation in which she is all too familiar. Meanwhile, doubts among the squad towards one of their own causes Severide (Taylor Kinney) to lay down the law and Dawson (Monica Raymund) puts her life on the line during a call."

In the last episode of "Chicago Fire," Peter Mills leaves Firehouse 51 to start a restaurant with his family.

In "You Know Where to Find Me," it first seems as though Peter had no intentions of ever leaving Chicago but later decided to put his other family first, Entertainment Weekly reports.

He was eager to return to Rescue Squad after getting a medical clearance, but then his mom and sister let him know that they want to run the restaurant that his grandfather left behind in North Carolina.

Peter makes his decision to leave after hearing a speech from Rice about the importance of family. It was hard to walk away from his firefighting career, but he also realized that he should not take time with his family for granted.

On the next episode, the crew misses Peter but work goes on as they may have stumbled upon a serial killer.

Tune into NBC Tuesday night at 10 p.m. ET for the next episode of "Chicago Fire."
