Niall Horan Girlfriend & News Update: 1D Singer Scheduled for Knee Surgery; Flies to US for the Operation
One Directioners in the U.S. might just get a sneak peek of their beloved Nialler in crutches. But only if fans manage to track down the supposedly "exclusive" medical facility he'll be staying in for 10 days.
The 1D member is reportedly getting his knee fixed in the U.S., though the name of the hospital has not been disclosed. Sugarscape reports that Niall has been wanting to get his knee in "good working order" after he met an injury during one of their tours.
With next year's long tour and busy schedule, getting "stiff and swollen" after performances is the last thing the 1D member wants to happen. His knee problem has reportedly been an issue for him since his childhood years.
"Niall has battled this problem since he was a child. His knee dislocates and it is very uncomfortable," a source told The Sun, notes Sugarscape.
The source went on to say that Nialler has in fact, been having "physio sessions" for years now. However, the non-invasive treatment does not seem to be working - leaving the 1D member in pain and with no other choice besides surgery.
One Direction will be busy with the "Where We Are" world tour next year which means that Niall's knees should be fit and in good shape for the tons of performances.
1D's "Where We Are" world tour starts August in Ontario, Canada for North America, and spans to Europe, Latin America, Ireland and the U.K. According to the tour date webpage, much more countries and dates will be added soon.
This isn't the first time that fans are hearing about their beloved Niall's knee condition. Last year the 1D member had to wear crutches and went under the knife after a rare "squirrel attack", he jokingly told fans.
"A squirrel attacked me. I got attacked by a squirrel in Battersea Park. They're dangerous. It's rare. I've torn most of the ligaments in my knee. So no football for me," he said in a report by the Daily Mail.
