Veteran actor Victor Garber ("Alias," "Titanic"), who will play Dr. Martin Stein and Firestorm in the spinoff series DC's "Legends of Tomorrow," has confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that he will also be returning to "The Flash."

He also confirmed Robbie Amell will be coming to "The Flash" as Ronnie Raymond, which is the other half of Firestorm.

"Robbie and I will be joined on the first episode of the [next] season of 'The Flash,' and then we'll see what happens," Garber told The Hollywood Reporter.

Amell will not be a regular on "Legends of Tomorrow' like Garber is, but he will still be appearing on it.

Garber also assured fans that all will be explained in future episodes of "The Flash" and "Arrow," as both shows have to set the stage for the upcoming spinoff series to grab flight next winter on The CW, since the show has ben slated for a mid-season premiere instead of a fall premiere. This gives its flagship shows enough time to set up the necessary elements for the spinoff series to be successful.

The series has had an initial order of 15 episodes, but if things go as planned, fans can look forward to many more additions to the superhero universe that is currently emerging on the CW network.

"They aren't going to introduce a limited series. This isn't HBO. They want the Full Monty," Garber told THR.

That gives fans hope that not only is the network committed to the show's success, but it is looking to build upon it and get a larger audience for the superhero universe.

The CW has done more than just these current shows from DC Comics. In the past, "Smallville," which featured a teenage Clark Kent, aired on the network and also featured "The Flash" and "Green Arrow" in several episodes near the end of its run, although these characters were played by different actors.

The Hollywood Reporter also reveals the series will center around Rip Hunter, who travels back in time and assembles the team to avoid a devastating future that he has already seen.
