Lenovo Vibe S1 Specs & Features: First Smartphone with Two Front-Facing Cameras Leaked?
Lenovo may not be your typical phone device, but it does have some features that can really bring up the hype in the world of smartphones. Recently, leaks about the new Lenovo Vibe S1 has been surrounding the internet. The feature that really set the device apart from the others is its supposed two front-facing cameras.
According to GSMArena, the two similar sensors, like dots on one side of the phone's earpiece, are apparently the phone's dual front-facing cameras. While it was previously assumed that one of them was sort of a sensor, it turns out it's a dual camera phone.
While it's definitely not considered an entry level by Lenovo, the Vibe S1 is quite the typical phone without the front-facing dual cameras. It is also equipped with a five-inch full HD display, a 5-megapixel selfie camera and a 13-megapixel primary camera. Looking under its core, the Lenovo Vibe S1 has a 1.7 GHz octa-core processor, a 16GB built-in storage that you can expand using a MicroSD card, 2GB of Random Access Memory and a 4G support. If you are wondering about its software cap, the Lenovo Vibe S1 comes out of the box with Android 5.0 Lollipop and has a dual SIM slot.
GSMArena also noted that the Lenovo Vibe S1 has a physical profile of 143 x 70.8 x 7.85 diagonal measure with an accompanying 2,420mAH battery to give the whole unit a reasonable weight of 130 grams. While it's observed to have a very typical size, the Lenovo Vibe S1 comes to the market in varied colors apart from the normal range of black, white and silver. Other colors include shades of violet, pink and blue.
According to PhoneArena, should the Lenovo Vibe S1 hit the market, this will be the first ever smartphone with dual front-facing cameras. Compared to a previous HTC device that introduced dual primary cameras, Vibe S1 is the complete opposite.
The Lenovo Vibe S1 has been making rounds on the internet, but a quick response to its release date or the price of the device has not yet been disclosed.
Rest assured, consumers who will get the unit will be rewarded with the two front-facing cameras that are said to significantly improve out-of-focus images right where it was taken. Bokeh effect is what they call it, but either way, the Lenovo Vibe S1 has some serious business when it comes to the quality of their phone camera.
