What happened on the finale episode last season of "The 100" has been seen by most as both a betrayal and a necessary evil.

According to International Business Times, Lexa betrayed Clarke in what was thought to be on of the most unforgivable situation that anyone could imagine for the two characters. But her betrayal also led her people to safety, so it naturally transitioned into a necessary evil.

But in season three, there is going to be a reconciliation of some sort and Clarke is put right in he middle of a love triangle between herself, Lexa and Bellamy. This where forgiveness may take its toll and put the drama right out in front of the loaded situation.

When speaking with Entertainment Weekly, actress Alycia Debnam-Carey (Lexa) gave them a few details about how the scene may play out, especially in regards to her and Clarke's reconciliation.

"Lexa will make it happen one way or the other," Carey told EW. "It might not be an easy reconciliation, but it'll happen. If Lexa wants something, it'll happen."

But that is not something that can easily be accomplished given their history.

"She's opening up a wound again," Carey said. "What happened last time when she was emotionally available, her lover was killed. It's a very dangerous position to be in, but at the end of the day, she's only human and she'll have that human emotion."

That also puts a monkey wrench into Bellamy's role in the romance.

"I think it would be interesting if Bellamy [played by Bob Morley] had more to do with Lexa," Carey told The Wrap.

"That would be an interesting dynamic because obviously, you know, he's got some feels for Clarke, we can all see that. And obviously Lexa does. So [to see them fight over Clarke], I think that would be kinda cool to see, why not? I'm sure fans would love that one, the love triangle. Or maybe they'd hate it. It would be very ferocious!"
