China, Iran and Palestine advanced to the second round of competition with unblemished records after beating their respective opponents on Friday in Changsha, China.
Host China leaned on another strong performance in the second half to run away with an 84-67 victory against Jordan at CSWC Dayun gymnasium.
Jordan was within striking distance at the half as they were just down by five points, but China pulled away in the third and final period to score their third victory in as many games.

Meanwhile, Iran proved once again why they are the tournament favorite as they cruised to a 122-42 victory against hapless Malaysia in their final Group A assignment.
Reigning FIBA Asia Most Valuable Player Hamed Hadadi did not play for Iran, but his absence was not felt by the defending champions as they quickly blew the game wide open right from the opening period.
