Carrie Underwood recently shared her secrets on how to lose weight and stay in shape in the upcoming November issue of Shape magazine.

The 32-year-old country singer spilled the beans about how she manages to juggle all her priorities, such as raising her 10-month-old son and working on her music career, all while staying fit, according to Shape.

"I'm vegan and I love bread, but recently, I started making dinner a breadless meal. I'll have a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast, and I'll make a sandwich on Ezekiel bread for lunch, but in the evening I'll have protein and vegetables and no bread," Underwood said. "When I wake up, my belly is flat!"

While the blonde beauty's diet does have a lot to do with her toned physique, that's not the only factor working in her favor. She is also dedicated to her regular workout regimen called Tabata, which is a series of exercises completed vigorously in short bursts.

"My favorite workout is Tabata, which I can do at home in about a half hour. I'm in love with it! It's hard, but it really works. I choose seven different exercises, like squats, lunges, or push ups, and do eight rounds of each -- 20 seconds on, 20 seconds off for eight rounds. It really revs up my metabolism. When I'm done, I can handle anything."

While fitness is important to the "Something in the Water" singer, what she chooses to wear while working out is close to just as essential.

"I've always been an athletic-wear fanatic, but everything I owned was either super-functional and not cute, or really frilly and not right for my workout," Underwood said.

The singer's passion for fitness wear went as far as her creating her own line called CALIA in partnership with Dick's Sporting Goods. The clothing line debuted during fall's New York Fashion Week.

Underwood is gearing up to release her fifth studio album, "Storyteller," on Oct. 23. She is also preparing for her hosting slot at the 2015 CMA Awards alongside her pal Brad Paisley in November.
