After the second season of "Gotham" kicked off on Sept. 21 with "Damned If You Do," the hard-hitting second episode, "Knock, Knock," appeared on the small screen on Monday, as James Gordon (Ben McKenzie) was reinstated to detective in a deal with Oswald Cobblepot (Robin Lord Taylor).
The second season of the hit Batman origin story "Gotham" will appear on FOX within a few short weeks. Ahead of it's airing, spoilers, speculations and synopses have circled the world wide web, suggesting that Det. James Gordon's fight against Gotham's criminal underworld won't be easily won.
"Gotham," FOX's pre-Batman series, has attempted to collect and cast every villain and anti-hero from the saga to employ them as the latest scoundrel or foreboding "big bad." The upcoming season will include a number of villains, including Firefly, the Flamingo and Calendar Man. But, it will also feature ally Azrael.
Season two of "Gotham," which will return in the fall, already has a few things lined up for fans, including brand new villains and interesting cast changes.
"Gotham," the freshman hit series, has been renewed for a second season on the FOX Network, following the mid-season finale of the show, titled "Lovecraft." But before that happens, there are some plot points that you should brush up on before you're ready for the show's midseason return.
The Batman prequel/Jim Gordon origin story "Gotham" will air the mid-season finale this evening. The episode "LoveCraft" will show Selina Kyle and Bruce Wayne on the run from assassins and much more.
