'Digale' Singer David Bisbal Would Like to Star in a Telenovela in Mexico
David Bisbal hopes to be the next singer-turned-actor.
The Spanish crooner admitted that he would like to participate in a telenovela as an actor, according to TV Notas. Bisbal has sang music for four telenovelas and has been a special guest in Argentine telenovela "Los Unicos," but he'd eventually like to be an actor on a Mexican show.
The singer recently spoke to Antena 3's Fuera de Contexto about how his fame has changed his life.
"My life isn't as intimate as it used to be," he said. "Sometimes I'd like to be in a bar with my friends, but I know it's not possible."
He's gotten used to his lack of privacy, and he knows that he also can't look himself up. Otherwise, he would never be able to live his life.
"It's part of my job and I don't obsess over it," he said. "I do not anxiously look at what's [written about me] because I wouldn't have a life."
For Christmas, the Spanish superstar made sure to spend it with those who are important to him. He was in Argentina with Eugenia Suarez, notes El Mundo.
Just like Bisbal, Suarez does not care what people have to say about her.
"I also don't read what they say," she said on "Intrusos." "That's how I am with my life. I have never been interested in [the gossip], not even when I was in school. I prefer not to get hooked."
There were reports that she was unhappy that Bisbal's ex Elena Tablada was at one of his recent concerts. Toward the end of the show, Bisbal dedicated a song to his daughter, Ella, according to Hola.
"The next song I dedicate to the most important woman in my life, my daughter, who is here with her entire family," he said.
