Michael Buble's son diagnosed with liver cancer; three-year old told he has '90%' chance of survival
Doctors told Michael Buble and Luisiana Lopilato last Tuesday that their son Noah has liver cancer - found after a liver biopsy in Los Angeles. Initially, Buble thought that Noah has been suffering from mumps, but the diagnosis proved shocking and devastating to him and Luisiana. The initial examination took place at a clinic in Buenos Aires. He has started his chemotherapy, which is going to last for four months.
Reports from Mail Online stated on Tuesday Luisiana's elder sister Daniela's comment on the unfortunate news, saying that that if God wanted the cancer to be discovered that way, it's because to save Noah. She added that they have faith in Noah overcoming cancer. It is a very long and difficult treatment but it has to push through.
Speculations abound on Argentinian media that Noah's first time to suffer from the cancer's mumps-like symptoms was when Luisiana went to the US at the end of last month. According to The Sun, Luisiana has been in the works on filming her new English-language movie "Numb, At The Edge Of The End," which has to be put on pause for now. As for Michael, he has dropped out of his BBC Music Awards commitments in December and other shows, and cancelled his tour as well.
The details on the events leading to Noah's cancer diagnosis was confirmed in a statement given by Michael and his wife when they took their son to the Otamendi Miroli hospital in Buenos Aires following a fever that struck him.
On October 27, Noah's check-up uncovered his throat infection and cleared him of mononucleosis, and the ultrasound then detected a liver problem. The doctor told Luisiana that a stain is there in Noah's liver prompts the need to run an immediate test. At that point, Michael told her to seek a second opinion. Such prompted Luisiana to fly with Noah to the US on October 29, leaving Michael behind in London. Through that, the grim diagnosis has been unraveled.
There were a lot of heartfelt messages send to Noah from their fans, many of which sent via social media.
