Atlus has announced and confirmed the addition of Ryuji Yamazaki as a "King of Fighters 14" DLC fighter. He comes as the second DLC character for the game right after the announcement of Whip last week. There

According to Gematsu, Ryuji Yamazaki first made his debut to the franchise in "The King of Fighters '97." His addition as a "King of Fighters 14" DLC character has been wildly speculated by fans and now the rumors rest with Atlus' confirmation.

In the "King of Fighters 14" DLC announcements, Atlus has only released the expected date for Whip but not for Ryuji Yamazaki. The company announced last week that Whip DLC can be purchased beginning April 5.

Fans of Ryuji Yamazaki are pleased with his addition to the game. His "King of Fighters 14" DLC reveal trailer showcased his iconic laugh that most fans intimately know of.

Destructoid reports that fans can expect Ryuji Yamazaki to use tuna - the actual fish as a weapon. The "King of Fighters 14" DLC trailer also revealed a more high definition look of the character and his improved moves.

Prior to Ryuji Yamazaki, the first "King of Fighters 14" DLC announced by Atlus is Whip. Her name is attributed to the fact that she is well-versed in using it as her weapon in the game. Whip first made her appearance in the 1999 version of the game.

Atlus has previously announced that the first "King of Fighters 14" DLC will cost $5. It is not known if the second DLC will be priced the same. Furthermore, the company also announced that on top of the payable content, there will be bonus content for players that are for free.
