'Pirates of the Caribbean 5' Will Feature Will Turner's Son, New Trailer Confirms
It has just been confirmed! Henry Turner, the son of Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann will be in the upcoming "Pirates of the Caribbean 5." Johnny Depp will reprise his role again as the pirate Captain Jack Sparrow in a new and harrowing adventure.
It is known that Orlando Bloom will reprise his role as Will Turner. Entertainment Weekly reports that there have been longstanding rumors that Tuner's son, Henry will be in "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" as well. A new featurette confirms that Brenton Thwaites is the actor who plays him.
In addition to Jack Sparrow and the Turners, past characters from the franchise will return. Fans will see Geoffrey Rush as Captain Hector Barbossa, Stephen Graham's Scrum and Kevin R. McNally as Joshamee Gibbs once again in "Pirates of the Caribbean 5." Keira Knightley who plays Elizabeth Swann will reportedly not appear in the film.
The upcoming movie is the fifth installment to Disney's "Pirates" franchise and a brand new adventure awaits Jack Sparrow and his friends. "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" also features new characters including Javier Bardem as Captain Salazar, Kaya Scodelario as Carina Smyth and Golshifteh Farahani as Shansa.
According to GameSpot, Jack Sparrow along with every pirate in the sea are in danger of being annihilated by Captain Salazar. To escape his fate, he must find the Trident of Poseidon with the help of Carina and Henry. It seems like "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" will have Sparrow go to the ends of the oceans to find the legendary artifact to save his life.
Disney's "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" will be released in US theaters on May 26. It is directed by Espen Sandberg and Joachim Ronning.
