'Guardians of the Galaxy 2' Latest Trailer Features New Heroes Mantis, Nebula & Yondu - Watch it Here!
The "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" sequel is going full steam ahead in preparation for its release date next month on May 5. International posters of the film, as well as a trailer give some preview of the Guardians and new heroes.
Based on the international posters released for "Guardians of the Galaxy 2," it seems the sequel will feature pairings. Screen Rant reports that there were four posters released this week featuring Star-Lord (played by Chris Pratt) and Gamora (played by Zoe Saldana), Rocket Raccoon (voiced by Bradley Cooper) and Baby Groot (voiced by Vin Diesel).
There are five characters in the original film and so Drax (played by Dave Bautista) has been paired off with one of three new heroes called Mantis (played by Pom Klementieff). Two more heroes join in "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" with Yondu (played by Michael Rooker) and Nebula (played by Karen Gillan) and are featured in another poster.
It is not known yet what roles Mantis, Nebula and Yondu will play in "Guardians of the Galaxy 2." Their joining the group means they are teaming up to quell a new threat that is rising.
Director James Gunn has revealed a teaser photo of the soundtrack for "Guardians of the Galaxy 2." The original movie is known for its excellent taste in music and the sequel is expected to follow through as well.
Den of Geek reports that the first movie had 12 songs and "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" may have the same set or more. Some of the songs heard in the trailers include songs from David Bowie called "Suffragette City," Fleetwood Mac's "The Chain" and The Sweet's "Fox on the Run."
