Sega has announced the "Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 3" beta and it will run from April 21 to April 24 later this month. Players will have the chance to try out the game for free for a full weekend with access to all three main factions in the game.

Those who would like to try out the "Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 3" beta may sign up for it now. According to the game's official website, the confirmation emails along with the unique key will be sent beginning April 12. Those who are lucky to be included in the beta will have to create a Relic Link account to play the game.

The "Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 3" beta game download can be activated via Steam. Players can pre-load the game as early as April 18 and the patch will start on April 21 10 AM PST where the final installation will be completed. Those who have pre-ordered the game will still need to register to be included in the beta.

Polygon reports that players will only have access to the multiplayer mode in the "Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 3" beta. While the single player mode is off-limits, all three factions including Space Marines, Orks and Eldar can be accessed.

Doctrines can be fully accessed in "Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 3" beta too. Players can use these to equip their heroes and play against other in battles using the three maps currently available. Furthermore, character skins including The Dark Queen Skin, Ghost Seer skin and Big Kustom skin can be accessed too. Pre-ordered copies will automatically include the Masters of War Skin pack.

It is not yet known how the multiplayer mode in "Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 3" beta will differ from the single player campaign. Thankfully, the game will come out on PC on April 27 just a few days after the open access.
