Shia LaBeouf Raped: #IAMSORRY Collaborators Clarify Why Alleged Woman Rapist Wasn't Apprehended at Event
Shia LaBeouf's collaborator for his #IAMSORRY project has come forward to confirm and clarify the actor's recent rape allegations.
Last week, during an interview with Dazed, LaBeouf made the shocking revelation that he was raped by a woman during his #IAMSORRY show in Los Angeles.
LaBeouf's "#IAMSORRY" art project, which took place during a span of five days in Los Angeles, was a one-man art project "in which LaBeouf silently met members of the public one by one for five days in an LA gallery," according to Dazed. Fans who attended the #IAMSORRY project were given the chance to sit in a room with the "Fury" actor as he sat silently in a chair with a paper bag over his head with the words, "I am not famous anymore."
When asked to share his recollection of meeting with various strangers during his "#IAMSORRY" art project, LaBeouf recalled many touching moments with his audience members, adding that he "never experienced love like that; empathy, humanity."
LaBeouf's "#IAMSORRY" experience quickly proved to be a troubling exercise for the 28-year-old actor, however, as he also shared a when a women allegedly "whipped" and raped him.
"One woman who came with her boyfriend, who was outside the door when this happened, whipped my legs for 10 minutes and then stripped my clothing and proceeded to rape me," LaBeouf told Dazed, adding that his girlfriend attended the show that and was "hurt" after discovering what happened.
LaBeouf's shocking revelation naturally garnered a wave of public outrage and criticism from many people, including Piers Morgan, a former CNN correspondent, who accused LaBeouf of lying about the rape.
Shia LaBeouf invited people to do they want to him, then let a woman 'rape' him without doing or saying a word? Utterly ridiculous.

The supposed 'rapist' is easily traceable, this was a public event. I suggest Mr LaBeouf now calls the police to report his 'rape'. — Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) November 29, 2014
LaBeouf wants us to believe his girlfriend came in after the 'rape' but he didn't say a word to her in the name of 'art'. REALLY??

I've no problem with Shia LaBeouf doing dumb things in the name of art. I have a big problem with him crying fake rape to promote himself. — Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) November 29, 2014
Morgan also slammed LaBeouf's #IAMSORRY collaborator, Luke Turner, for allegedly allowing the woman who raped LaBeouf to "walk away," E! News reports.
Turner later responded to Morgan's tweet.
"It wasn't clear at the time precisely what had happened, & the 1st priority was to ensure everybody's safety in the gallery," he explained.
Turner also posted additional tweets explaining that he and his team members made sure the woman left once once he was made aware of the incident.

As soon as we were aware of the incident starting to occur, we put a stop to it and ensured that the woman left. — Luke Turner (@Luke_Turner) November 30, 2014
Nowhere did we state that people could do whatever they wanted to Shia during #IAMSORRY.

LaBeouf has yet to respond to Morgan's tweets.
Morgan recently published a piece on the Daily Mail in which he further elaborates on his opinion that LaBeouf fabricated his rape accusation.
