The 2013 NFL season just keeps on getting more and more exciting, and last night was no exception.

As the season progresses, fans start to question their favorite teams and in the process, praise or curse the coaches and the players for how they have been performing in the past six weeks of the season. This was proven true as the Chicago Bears beat the New York Giants last night.

The Bears eclipsed their two-game losing streak as they bested the Giants, 27-21. Jay Cutler led the team with two completed touchdowns to Brandon Marshall, while passing 262 yards in the match. Tim Jennings also helped score the win as he completed two interceptions against the NY Giants' Eli Manning - the Bears had three interceptions against the New York QB.

"We see things each and every week that tell us we cannot just be good, we can be very good," coach Marc Trestman of the Bears told the media after the game, NFL.com reports. "But we also know there's a lot of work ahead."

The Bears outscored the Giants by 10 points in the second to gain a commanding lead against the team in the first half. And though NY posted 7 against Chicago's 3 in the third, it wasn't enough for New York to bag the win.

"We won the game but we kind of leave a little bit unsatisfied because I think offensively we could have exploded for a little bit more," Cutler noted, notes NFL.com.

As for the Giants, the loss drops the team to 0-6. Eli Manning completed 1 TD in a 239-yard passing.

"I feel bad for my teammates, I feel bad for my coaches and everybody, fighting every day, and I'm fighting too," the Giants QB explained. "I am trying to get a win for these guys."

Giants coach Tom Coughlin also noted how hard it is for the team to go on a six-game losing streak.

"We're all sick of it. We're all sick of losing, but we put ourselves in this position," Coughlin noted.

The Giants will face the Minnesota Vikings next, on Oct. 21 at home, as they try to finally bag their first win this season. As for the Bears, they will try to extend their win against the Washington Redskins on Oct. 20.
