"Devious Maids" has quite a lot in store for the third season of the comedy-drama series: secrets, sex, murder, lies and surprises . . . and, of course, more deviousness.

Created by Marc Cherry, produced by ABC Studios, Cherry, Eva Longoria, Paul McGuigan and others , the series will be making some huge changes in its third season. For instance, "Glee" star Naya Rivera has joined the cast, and she'll be portraying Blanca, a new maid who believes she's found a job with a perfect Beverly Hills family. However, she quickly learns that looks can be deceiving.

Some other changes to the cast include Drew Van Acker (Remi) and Edy Ganem's (Valentina) demotion to series regulars. Also, Mark Deklin (Nicholas) has left the cast; "Days of our Lives" actor Nathan Owens has joined the series and he will portray Jessie, an attractive military vet; and "General Hospital" veteran John O'Hurley has signed up for the third season of the series. Actor Alec Mapa announced via Twitter that he'll appear in the regular role of Jerry. Also, Chilean actor Cristian de la Fuente has joined, and he's been cast in the role of Rosie's (Dania Ramirez) husband, Ernesto Falta, who was believed to be dead.

The Season 3 premiere will be a no-holds-barred return, picking up where last year's cliffhanger left off. At the end of Season 2, a gunman targeted the maids during Rosie and Spence's wedding, and fans were left without knowing who would survive.

During the third season, the aftermath of the shooting will force the women to reflect and bond, particularly after Zoila Diaz (Judy Reyes) discovers that she's pregnant and doesn't know who the father of the child might be. Also, Carmen (Roselyn Sánchez) finds herself very attracted to Sebastian (Gilles Marini), and Marisol (Ana Ortiz) has a sudden change of heart about her professional life.

"Devious Maids," based on the Mexican TV series returns "Ellas son la Alegría del Hogar" ("They Are the Joy of the Home"), Sunday, June 1 at 9 p.m. on Lifetime.
