The Fifty Shades of Grey movie adaptation is getting a lot of press these days. As a result, Dakota Johnson is sharing her thoughts on her growing career, and an unlikely actress has a few choice words about the movie's promotional poster.

Johnson, who plays Anastasia Steele in the film adaptation of E.L. James's novel, appears in Vanity Fair's Vanities Opener for its Hollywood Issue. In the magazine, Johnson speaks about her Aspen, Colorado roots, of which she has "a lot of pride," and how her parents, Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson, deal with her promiscuous role.

"I think that I would love to have them experience it with me, but I can't really do that, just because of what it entails," she told the magazine. "I talk to them more about problems with my landlords. That's my talking point with my family."

Anastasia Steele wasn't always a girl you didn't want to talk to your parents about. According to Johnson, the character is not much until she meets Christian Grey, who will be played by Jamie Dornan.

"A lot of getting into the character's head, in Ana's headspace before she meets Christian, so it's a lot of reading, which I love," Johnson explained. "She's an English major, so that's kinda boring."

The 24-year-old actress will also appear in Need for Speed alongside Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad), but a lot of her fan base is certainly coming from her role in Fifty Shades of Grey.

"I wonder if it will be, like, 40-year-old moms, which I am cool with," Johnson said. "I love moms."

One mother is not a Fifty Shades of Grey fan, however. Mad Men actress January Jones recently criticized the movie's poster on her Instagram page.

"Does this look familiar to anyone else? #madmenpostercirca2010," the caption says.
