Lady Gaga, Taylor Kinney Relationship News: Fiancé Bought Her Engagement Ring to Ward Off Other Men

Lady Gaga told Jimmy Fallon on "The Tonight Show" on Tuesday that her fiancé Taylor Kinney put a ring on it to scare other guys away from her.

The 29-year-old "Applause" singer said that when the 34-year-old "Chicago Fire" actor proposed, he gave her a huge rock in order to mark his territory, according to Us Weekly.

"I just put my hand on top of your hand and felt that rock -- ooh-la-la," Fallon said, after welcoming Mother Monster to her seat on the late night talk show.

Responding to Fallon's remark, Gaga explained her theory behind Kinney's choice of such a glitzy ring.

"I think that's why he got me such a big one, so if men touch my hand they're like, 'Oh, I feel something,'" Gaga said, showing off her bling.

For her appearance on "The Tonight Show" Gaga wore a silver sheath dress, but afterward, she changed into a bright pink dress by MSGM as she hit the streets of New York. The "American Horror Story: Hotel" actress and her mother Cynthia Germanotta posed outside, smiling for the cameras.

Gaga has been shifting her style a bit these days from the outrageous meat-dress she wore at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards. Lately she's been donning more classic looks, such as the Brandon Maxwell gowns she wore for the "American Horror Story: Hotel" premiere, the 2015 Emmys and the Emmys after parties.

Gaga made her debut on the horror show on Wednesday. Other cast members to be featured in this season of the Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk-created FX program include Kathy Bates, Matt Bomer, Sarah Paulson, Angela Bassett, Wes Bentley, Chloe Sevigny, Max Greenfield, Naomi Campbell, Evan Peters, Lily Rabe and Darren Criss.

"American Horror Story: Hotel" airs on FX Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET.
