Armed Texas Man Arrested Near VP Kamala Harris' Home
U.S. Secret Service arrested a Texas Man outside Naval Observatory, the traditional home of the all the Vice Presidents of the United States. NBC News noted that the authorities arrested the man who was found lurking around the residence of the vice president around noon.

The man was identified as Paul Murray. Murray was a subject from an intelligence bulletin from Texas, which tipped off the authorities who were able to seize the man, according to a WUSA9 report.

As the authorities searched for Murray's car, they found a rifle and ammunition. Several handguns were also seized, which were also found in his car parked in a DC garage, according to an Independent report.
Murray was arrested at the 3400 block of Massachusetts Avenue, Northwest.
The Naval Observatory will be the official residence of Vice President Kamala Harris. They will reside in the establishment once the renovation of the property is finished. The renovations took place after former Vice President Mike Pence left the office in January.
The Secret Service confirmed with NBC News that they have detained the man near the residence on Wednesday. However, it is not yet confirmed whether Vice President Kamala Harris and second gentleman Doug Emhoff are present at the scene during the seizure.
Murray from San Antonio Texas has is facing charges of carrying a dangerous weapon, carrying a rifle or shotgun outside of a business. Moreover, he will also face charges of possession of unregistered ammunition, and possession of large-capacity ammunition feeding device.
It is not yet clear why Texas Man Paul Murray was in Washington D.C. It is also unclear to the authorities why he is lurking around the Naval Observatory, where Vice President Kamala Harris will soon reside.
