'Justice League' Latest News: Superman, Steppenwold to appear in second trailer?
Another thing that DC fans must look forward before the release of "Justice League" next year is the second trailer of the highly-anticipated film which will be released soon. While a trailer has been out in Comic-Con earlier this year, the upcoming one will have interesting revelations about the film.
The excitement is due to some speculations that a new footage of the heroes will be included in the much-awaited "Justice League" trailer, as per Movie News Guide. While Aquaman and Flash are expected to be given more screen-time, the trailer might also hint the status of Superman and Steppenwolf.
As the media outlet further noted, Superman and Steppenwolf deserve to be mentioned in the trailer considering that the former is the team's leader. It is therefore fitting that DC's first child will be given a screen-time and as result, would give "Justice League" a major turning point as the team realizes that Superman is, in fact, alive.
The appearance of Steppenwold could also give the film a major twist considering that he has been hailed as a God-like aline whose powers cannot be surpassed by anyone. With the inclusion of the pair then, fans are expecting to know the roles they would play in the film.
As per the synopsis Bruce Wayne (Batman) will enlist the help of Diana Prince (Wonderwoman) to face a great army of evil. Together, they will recruit a team of superheroes including Aquaman, Cyborg, and The Flash. If rumors are to be believed, Batman and Wonderwoman might be dating in this "Justice League" film.
Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot will star alongside Amy Adams, Ezra Miller, Henry Cavill, Jason Mamoa, and Amber Heard to name the few. Affleck's "Batman" has been recently confirmed for 2018 and Mamoa's "Aquaman" will also open next year.
"Justice League" will be storming theaters starting November 17 while its sequel is pushed back to 2019. Stay tuned for more exciting updates!
