Louis Tomlinson Arrested For Feuding With Paparazzi; Given $20,000 Bail In LA
Celebrity paparazzi fight is nothing new and Louis Tomlinson became the latest star to fall into the pit. The 1D member has been arrested and granted bail in LA following an altercation with paparazzi.
According to BBC, the singer was accompanied by his girlfriend Eleanor Calder when feud took place. The 25-year old was arrested and later a bail was set at $20,000 (£16,000).
He was apprehended at 11.45pm on Friday and released at 1.32am on Saturday morning. A court date has been set for March 29. Tomlinson was released without paying any bail money, though.
As per Mail Online, Tomlinson's lawyer has blamed the photographers for the brawl and stated that and said they had provoked Louis. Apparently, the One Direction singer has asked the photographers to refrain from taking his pics at the airport but they continued to do so.
Moreover, Eleanor is also said to have got into some brawl with the onlookers. The moment Tomlinson and the paparazzi started their fiery showdown smartphones were out and the onlookers started to film the row.
"The paparazzi provoked and caused the altercation that occurred with Louis at the airport this morning," BBC quoted singer's lawyer Martin Singer. "While the altercation was going on with the paparazzi, three other individuals were attacking his girlfriend during this incident and he came to her defense."
The singer first tackled the photographer and during the brawl the paparazzi fell down. Meanwhile, Eleanor and a female fan started a verbal fight, which soon turned physical just feets away. Tomlinson ran to defend his girlfriend and took down the female fan while he was at it.
Louis Tomlinson and his girlfriend were on vacation in Las Vegas and were returning from the trip when the incident happened. Currently, like his band mate Harry Styles, Tomlinson is also working on a solo career.
