Charlie Hunnam who was supposed to play Christian Grey in the "Fifty Shades of Grey" franchise has admitted to having not seen any of the films. The actor apparently backed out of the project and Jamie Dornan was cast in his place. He admitted in an interview that he hasn't seen any of the movies and admits that he is a germophobe or someone who has an irrational fear of germs.

Before the filming of "Fifty Shades of Grey," it was reported that Hunnam dropped out of the movie. During that time the actor cited that he had scheduling troubles and is unable to commit to the film.

In a recent interview, Hunnam revealed that he is reluctant to talk about his brief time as Christian Grey for the "Fifty Shades of Grey" franchise. Vanity Fair reports that the "Sons of Anarchy" actor says he became friends with Sam Taylor-Johnson and added that he did not have fond memories of that time.

When asked if he had seen any of the "Fifty Shades of Grey" movies, Hunnam quickly admits that he hasn't seen any. He didn't expound further on why he had decided to drop the film entirely apart from his crammed schedule.

In the same interview, Hunnam also revealed that he is a germophobe for all his life. E! News notes that the actor actually didn't like kissing other people like his co-stars except for his girlfriend. His dropping out of the "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie would make sense now that he admits to the phobia.

Hunnam adds that his irrational fear for microbes started when he was a little child. Hunnam details that he learned about a canine parasite that could inflict blindness among children.
