Duggar Family Scandal: '19 Kids and Counting' Mom Michelle Duggar Offers Sex Advice to Newlywed Women
Michelle Duggar from "19 Kids and Counting" is offering up sex advice to new brides.
The mother of 19 children spoke on her beliefs in a blog post she released on the family's website on Thursday, Oct. 8 maintaining that all newlywed women should always be available for sex for their husbands, according to Us Weekly. This advice was passed along to Duggar by her friend Gala, who believes women should have sex with their husbands even if they are pregnant, tired or not in the mood.
"Anyone can iron Jim Bob's shirt, anybody can make lunch for him. He can get his lunch somewhere else," Duggar said, quoting her friend Gala. "But you are the only one who can meet that special need that he has in his life for intimacy. You're it. You're the only one. So don't forget that, that he needs you."
The 49-year-old mother, who is married to 50-year-old patriarch Jim Bob Duggar, says not only should women make themselves completely available, but should appear enthusiastic about the act of intimacy as well.
"Smile and be willing to say, 'Yes, sweetie I am here for you,' no matter what, even though you may be exhausted and big pregnant and you may not feel like he feels,'" Duggar said. "'I'm still here for you and I'm going to meet that need because I know it's a need for you.'"
Duggar says she will pass on this wisdom to her daughter Jill, who married Derick Dillard last year.
Earlier this summer Duggar's oldest son, Josh Duggar, 27, found himself in some hot water after he admitted having a pornography addiction and that he committed adultery against his wife Anna. In May he was also involved in a molestation scandal, in which he confessed, as a teenager, to molesting five underage girls, including two of his sisters, Jill (Duggar) Dillard and Jessa (Duggar) Seewald. He is now seeking treatment at a faith-based rehab center.
