Amanda Bynes DUI Arrest Update: Troubled Actress Reveals She’s Engaged
Amanda Bynes has been on a mission of doing serious damage control since news broke out about her DUI arrest and her various antics throughout NYC.
Two weeks ago, Bynes was arrested by the California Highway Patrol for driving under the influence and was later released.
Now that she's released and no longer under the conservatorship of her parents, the troubled star has been spotted in various locations throughout NYC looking intoxicated and strung out, TMZ reports.
TMZ's most recent citing of Bynes was on Monday where she was seen riding a Citi Bike and almost knocking over several pedestrians due to her bizarre cycling skills.
Despite the reports of Bynes going through another downward spiral, she is claiming that the stories are not true.
On Monday, Bynes took to Twitter to denounce reports of her troubled state. She also revealed that she would transfer to either NYU or Columbia to study psychology.

Bynes was previously a student at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising where she studied fashion. Due to her drug abuse and bizarre behavior in class, she was later kicked out, claims TMZ.
In addition to announcing her enrollment to NYU or Columbia, Bynes also announced her engagement to her alleged 19-year-old boyfriend named Caleb.
"I am very needy for friendship and I hate men. I want to f--- them, but I can now say I'm engaged - get away from me," she told an In Touch reporter on Sunday. "I want to be married and I want to be away from people."
Bynes also disclosed information about Caleb's job and where he lives, In Touch reports.
According to Bynes, Caleb works at a bait shop and lives in Costa Mesa, California. The alleged couple currently have a long distance relationship, now that Bynes lives in New York but Bynes is hoping that Caleb will move in with her in NYC because she "really [likes] walking and riding [her] bike, and in California, you need to drive," she told In Touch.
