One of the biggest nights in Hip Hop music was finally aired on TV earlier this Tuesday (Oct. 15) as the 2013 BET Hip Hop Music Awards honored the best in the business.

Hosted by Snoop Dogg - or Snoop Lion, or Uncle Snoop to other artists - the awards night was held last September 28, 2013 at The Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Center in Atlanta, GA., reports Broadway World.  The show then premiered on television tonight at 8 p.m. on BET.

Uncle Snoop delivered a pretty impressive job hosting the show, proving BET Networks' President of Music Programming and Specials, Stephen G. Hill, true that Snoop will be perfect for the stint.

"Snoop is a pop culture icon who has millions of fans around the world. We are thrilled to have Uncle Snoop preside over the 'BET Hip Hop Awards 2013' and bring his unique blend of humor, wit, credibility and fun to the show. Get ready for something you've never seen!" Hill noted, reports Broadway World.

Aside from Snoop's babbling powers, the performances of the night were also stellar, making the awards show an instant concert for fans. Performing on stage were Kendrick Lamar, Diddy, 2 Chainz, Future, Snoop Dogg and a number of other hot rappers and artists.

To cap of the night, Kendrick Lamar brought home five BET Hip Hop awards, while Drake got four.
